A native of Minsk, Belarus, Andrew Phillips immigrated to the United States in 1994. Upon his arrival, Andrew quickly became renowned as one of the country’s leading competitors in International Latin Dancesport. He gained notoriety by winning such prestigious competitions as Northeastern Open Invitational, Ohio Star Ball, Japan Open Invitational, United States World Rising Star Championship, and Blackpool where he was a rising star champion. His global standing in 2003 was number 2 in the United States and number 7 in the world. While he retired from competitive life in 2003, Andrew has become involved with various dance-related television programs. He was a featured dancer on the 2008 Academy Awards Broadcast. Additionally, he teaches worldwide in New York, Japan, and Hong Kong. He also adjudicates numerous competitions in the United States, Europe and Asia. He now organizes the Sunshine State DanceSport competition, held the last week in April in Miami.
Jose and Joanna formed their partnership in March of 2007. They are the reigning 4-time US and 3-time World Rhythm Champions. They are the U.S. Mambo Champions and are the newly-crowned World Salsa Champions. They have appeared on PBS' "America's Ballroom Challenge". Jose and Joanna were also featured on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars", dancing with Def Leppard. They are certified professional members of the USISTD. Jose and Joanna currently live in New York City.
Jose Decamps, born in the Dominican Republic, started dancing at the age of 18 and found a partner at 19 while working at Fred Astaire Studios East Side New York. Enjoying success as US Fred Astaire Rhythm Champion he went on and won "Couple of the Year" in 1997. He then changed dance styles and went to England to study with various world Latin champions. Shortly thereafter, he went back to New York and within the year became US international and Open to the World Rising Star Champion, UK Finalist and British Star Champion. Jose was also featured as a lead dancer in "Burn the Floor" the US tour, the Dr. Pepper Latin series commercial and the Debelah Morgan "Dance with Me" video. He has just finished recording
a music video with Vanessa Williams titled "Close to You". The Mambo is one of his best dances, and he holds a collection of American and World titles.
Joanna Zacharewicz started dancing at age of 8 in her native country, Poland. She studied International Latin and Standard and had the good fortune of being trained by some of the world's masters.
Joanna moved to the USA to further her dancing career and started competing in the new-to-her American Rhythm style. Soon after, she won her first international title as the World Mambo Champion. As recognition of her achievement she was invited to perform the winning number as a guest artist on ABC's "Dancing with Stars" and at the Kremlin Cup in Moscow. In 2005, Joanna won the World Salsa Championships.
Vincent Antonelli has been performing and competing for over 20 years throughout the United States. He became a featured performer very quickly in the several touring companies throughout the tri state area due to his unique ability to excel in theatre arts quickly. He holds titles in American Rhythm at USBC. He is a master in the theatre arts division and has coached many couples in these areas. He has extensive training in American Rhythm, American Smooth, International Latin and International Standard. He is well-known for his lift work and is an expert at choreography. As a Pro/Am competitor, he has received numerous top teacher awards, along with assisting his students to win several championships in the Pro/Am divisions. Vincent has featured in several episodes of a Ballroom/Latin Public Cable TV Instructional program broadcast over Long Island and New Jersey hosted by Alfonso Triggiani, and conducted invited workshops and performances throughout Long Island, New York and New Jersey.He is a member of the NDCA.
Stephanie and Vincent
Dance is the only art form that combines physical, emotional, and spiritual in a human body in motion. Stephanie and Vincent believe in this concept and epitomize this in their teaching. They commenced their formal ballroom training under the tutelage of such champions in ballroom dance as Shirley Ballas, Diana McDonald and Rufus Dustin, separately, but coming together for the partnership they waited a decade for. Vincent and Stephanie made their debut at the Jeanne Rimsky Theatre for the Michelle Raitzin concert on June 15, 2010 and have been performing in the tri-state area ever since. They received 4th place in their first competition in the Professional Theatre Arts Division at the Constitution State Challenge Dancesport Championship in 2010. They compete professionally, achieving Finalist placing in American Rhythm and Theater Arts.
They are available for coaching, judging, shows and workshops.

Esther started ballroom dancing in 1976 and started competing right away. She has had several partners, but her longest partnership was with her husband David. They competed in International Latin and Standard and retired in 1992. Some of their titles include: 1990 Baltimore-Washington Open Modern, Texas Challenge Rising Star, California Open Rising Star and Easter United States Rising Star Champions.
Esther Don has been running her ISTD exam preparation programs successfully since 1992. She has had the opportunity to train endless candidates for their professional accreditations in International style Standard and Latin, American style Ballroom and Rhythm, and Theatre Arts. Esther's goal is to become America's version of Elizabeth Romaine and has fashioned her course on what she learned at the Alex Moore School in London. In addition, she has added the tool of crib notes, which highlight the most common errors candidates are apt to make. Esther has also authored the American style syllabus used by the USISTD and is currently producing videos in the American style as another teaching tool. If that isn't enough to keep her busy, Esther and her husband David organize a competition in Connecticut, Tri-State Challenge, which is held every year in March.
Maria Torres is an acclaimed Performer, Choreographer and Director with extensive experience in the Theater, Film, Television, Video and Commercial industries.
In whatever capacity Maria has worked, her resume touts diversity from all angles. As a performer, Maria has graced both the Broadway stage, starring in Swing!, and the big screen in "Dance with Me," starring Chayanne and Vanessa Williams.
Maria has worked on projects in the music industry ranging from choreographing the video for Enrique Iglesias hit single Bailamos to hailed Reggaeton artist Don Omar’s most recent tour—King of Kings. In the world of film, Maria has worked with world-renowned production houses and directors such as MTV, NBC, HBO, BBC, Walt Disney, and John Leguizamo. Most recently, Maria’s work in the motion picture industry has allowed her the opportunity to work with John O’Connell and train renowned actors such as Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams in Disney’s "Enchanted" to Choreographing Jennifer Lopez in "El Cantante." Maria‘s choreography can been seen this season on the hit show "So You Think You Can Dance."
As a teacher, Maria has taught all over the world at an array of prestigious dance institutions with the goal of sharing her Latin culture with people of all backgrounds.
