We have taught in public and private schools, at continuing education programs, and at the collegiate level for many years. Some of our offerings are listed below. Feel free to call us to discuss what we can do for your school or organization. We are also a member of Boces Nassau Arts.
We offer three distinct courses from which school districts may choose. We can teach our curriculum to your existing instructors, or provide you with one of our own to work within your school.
Classes run during students' physical education periods, bi-weekly or tri-weekly dependent on the school calendar.
Classes are available for Elementary, Middle, and High School students.
Instructors will provide assignments and tests based on an existing testing format created by our Director, which is currently used in the NYC Public School system.
Curriculum is based on the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing's International Latin, International Standard, American Rhythm and American Smooth syllabi.
Please feel free to contact us with regard to pricing, as we design our school packages based on each individual district's needs.
We have successfully taught Parents, Grand Parents, Adult Relatives and Friends, as well as other Adults who participate in the many Adult Continuing Education programs sponsored by the School Districts and Local Libraries.
Programs are designed to be compact and run with existing educational programs during weekday evening hours for 8 to 12 weeks in Fall, Spring, and sometimes Summer semesters.
Programs are in an economical group class format, to fit into everyone's budgets.
Most importantly, classes cover a wide variety of social dances popular through the years with emphasis on partnering and fun in any social setting, proving that anyone can learn to dance without fear of failure.
It has become a common and popular extracurricular activity for college students to get together and form Ballroom Dance Clubs and Teams, with weekly group classes often run at the student activity centers. Many are even running their own social dances, competitions, and sometimes sponsoring large Formation Dance Teams that have toured the country.
We and our colleagues have been affiliated with some of these colleges.
